The relevance of research on digitalization in the transport sector is determined by several factors. Firstly, it is in the transport sector that the use of digital technologies is especially evident: this facilitates an understanding of the nature of the digitalization process. Secondly, it is the efficiency of using the latest technological achievements that determines the competitiveness of transport companies, and in this context, the study of the impact of digital technologies on production processes in this area is of the greatest practical interest. The aim of the study of this topic is to identify the most significant manifestations of the impact of digitalization on the transport sector, trends and the nature of such an impact.
